Our February outreach was truly filled with love! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, we had the honor of serving over 150 of our homeless brothers and sisters—and every moment was a reminder of the power of community and compassion.
Thanks to our amazing volunteers and generous donors, this month’s outreach was a beautiful success. We served warm chili with a choice of white rice or chips, giving our guests not just a meal, but a choice—something that brings dignity and care to every plate.
A special thank you goes out to Trader Joe’s in Coral Gables and their incredible manager, Jennifer, who went above and beyond by donating fresh fruits and to-go snacks. These additions brought smiles and energy to so many faces.
We also had the pleasure of offering free haircuts, thanks to Lee, who once again donated his time and talent. His kindness gave many a fresh look and a boost of confidence. Alongside that, we handed out shoes and clothing generously donated by community members—gifts that were received with so much joy and gratitude.
Although our outreach took place close to Valentine’s Day, our mission is rooted in the everyday love of Jesus Christ. As it says in Scripture, “Love covers a multitude of sins.” That’s the kind of love we aim to show—unconditional, transformative, and constant.
Imagine a world where love like this is shown every day—what a beautiful world it would be. And we believe, by faith, that this world is soon to come.
Thank you for standing with us. Let’s keep spreading the love!
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8
